What we collect
For tradespeople: your name, business name, ABN, contact details, trade category, service city, licence or ticket numbers, and any insurance certificates, tickets or certifications you upload. For homeowners: nothing beyond standard server logs unless you create an account, in which case we store your email address.
How we use it
Application data is used to verify eligibility, to publish your approved public profile, and to operate billing. Your ABN is submitted to the Australian Business Register lookup service to confirm entity name and status. Uploaded documents are stored in a private bucket and are readable only by you and the VerifiedTrades review team — they are never shown on your public profile.
What is public
Approved profiles display your business name, trade category, service city, bio, published contact details, rating, reviews and verification date. Your documents, ABN lookup detail and billing records are not public.
Payments
Card details are handled by our payment processor and never reach our servers. We store only subscription status, plan and renewal dates.
Retention and access
Application records and documents are retained while your listing is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for compliance. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time.
